Shakira, Colombia’s Pop Queen, set three World Records

The Queen of Latin Pop, Shakira has set two world records when she released her sixth album. Nine years later, she won her 3rd world record when it broke the Facebook trademark for 100 million likes.

The best-seller Spanish album for the first week in the US.

Shakira broke her first Music World Record in 2005, when ‘Fijación Oral, Vol. 1’ had the highest debut ever for a Spanish language album on Billboard 200 ranking at number four and selling 157,000 copies in its first week in the US.

The longest-run single on the Hot Latin Songs chart.

When “La Tortura” reached number 23 on Hot 100 in the US in less than two weeks after its release, it became the highest-charting Latin single of all time.

Shakira held the тιтle for the most liked person on Facebook.

In July 2014, the Colombian star Shakira broke a Facebook record by becoming the first person to reach more than 100 million likes, a record тιтle that she will hold forever. The following boost came when the singer posted a pH๏τo of herself at the Maracanã Stadium during the World Cup 2014.
