EA Sports FC 24: Top rated Premier League players
EA Sports FC 24, the successor to FIFA, is just weeks away from hitting shelves across the world, as football fans prepare themselves for a new dawn.
While the game promises to be different to recent iterations due to EA (Electronic Arts) and FIFA's divorce, there should also be plenty of similarities.
One such similarity is the rating system, which continually divides opinion each year, especially for those interested in Ultimate Team. The Premier League always boasts some of the highest-rated players and this year is no different with the likes of Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne all at the peak of their powers.
Here's what we know about the highest-rated Premier League players in EA Sports FC 24.
Top ten Premier League FIFA 23 player ratings
Last season's top Premier League ratings were understandably dominated by Manchester City players, with that not expected to change this year given they have just won the treble.
Kevin De Bruyne sat at the summit with a 91-rated base card, followed by Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk with 90.
But there will be plenty of change in EA Sports FC 24, with several of the division's top talents having departed. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo (90), Harry Kane (89) and N'Golo Kante (89) have all left, leaving room for others to take their place.

Ederson (Man City) | 89 |
Erling Haaland (Man City) | 88 |

Who could be in the top ten in EA Sports FC 24?
It's expected Haaland will be the equal-highest rated player as a bare minimum next season for Premier League players and will probably rank as the best player in world football alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.
Out of the current top ten, only Son Heung-min and perhaps Virgil van Dijk should have their ratings lowered based on mixed performances last season, especially in the case of the Tottenham man who could lose a couple of points.
We should expect some Arsenal players to be knocking on the door for the top ten, especially Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, who currently sit at 82 and 84 respectively. New signing Declan Rice may also push for a spot among the best Premier League players.
Some of Newcastle's big boys such as Bruno Guimaraes, Kieran Trippier and Alexander Isak should get significant boosts, as should Aston Villa and Brighton players.
Highly-rated Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool players may be set for downgrades though after poor Premier League campaigns.
