Today's Best NHL Player Props & Odds: Best Mikko Rantanen props
Monday night in the NHL brings 7 games before a quiet Tuesday of no scheduled games. Due to being Thanksgiving week, there are no games scheduled for Tuesday or Thursday this week, but Monday, Wednesday and Friday completely bring the heat with 7, 14 and 15-game slates respectively. Among very good matchups tonight are the Oilers vs Panthers, Bruins vs Lightning and Rangers vs Stars. There is plenty to be entertained by tonight and plenty of betting value on the board if you so choose to partake. You can also find out our NHL predictions for every game today, but for now, let’s dive into my best NHL prop bets.
Mikko Rantanen over 0.5 goals (-115)
In a Game where the Avalanche have a great chance to run up the score, look for Mikko Rantanen to have a potential stat-padding night. The Avalanche score the 3rd-most goals in the NHL and Mikko Rantanen leads the team in both goals scored and points. In 16 Games played, he has 11 goals and 23 points. The Predators rank 22nd in the league in goal prevention and have been a punching bag this year. Rantanen should be able to produce against them just fine.
As good as Rantanen is by himself, it certainly does not hurt that he plays on a top line with Nathan MacKinnon and plenty of ice time with Cale Makar. Those 3 players combine for 21 goals, 67 points and a +24 rating. Unless the Predators really show up to play and the Avalanche do not, Rantanen should be able to continue to lead this Colorado team to a lopsided win by way of offensive production.

Quinn Hughes over 1.5 points (+124)
Taking over 1.5 points for a defenseman feels bolder than +124 odds. But that is how good Quinn Hughes has been. He is tied for the league lead in points with 28 in 18 Games played. By the way, the two players he is tied with are his teammates J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson. Hughes could be the best player among multiple great players on a great team. He is averaging over a point per Game and until he slows down even a little bit, he has not given a reason to fade his props.
The Canucks have already played the Sharks once this season in a game that Vancouver won 10-1. Hughes had a goal and 4 assists for 5 points. Even with 6 penalty minutes, Hughes skated over 18 minutes and tallied 5 points. This is a very lopsided matchup in favor of the Canucks and Hughes has another great chance to pad the stats.
